Monoprinting Workshop with Taiwanese Artist Yu-Chen Chen

Join MotivAsians and OCA Greater Cleveland, in partnership with Zygote Press, in a welcome reception for Ya Lan Yu, a printmaker based in Taipei, Taiwan. She works primarily with woodcuts, which serve as a media for expressing personal sentiments and life experiences. Other international visiting artists will also be present!

In addition to networking with internationally-acclaimed artists, Zygote Press will provide tours of their galleries and host an exclusive and interactive silk screen workshop. Using plexiglass, different textural items and a press to transfer images to fabric, all attendees will have the opportunity to make a print to take home. Wear whatever is comfortable and you don’t mind if a little paint gets on it.
